Review of the 2011 Honda CR-V
Reviewers were generally positive regarding the all-wheel drive CR-V. Some reviewers had grips about the acceleration of the car, citing it was sluggish. Some reviewers said that this vehicle is no mach for other vehicles in terms of off-roading: "If you're looking to venture off-road, the CR-V's part-time 4WD system is no match for the Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive system found in the more capable Subaru Forester." - Kelley Blue Book"
Compared within its class, the Honda CR-V's MPG gets fair ratings: 21 MPG City and 28 MPG Highway on two-wheel drive, and 21 MPG City and 27 MPG Highway on all-wheel drive. There are other compact crossover vehicles that have better gas mileage including the GMC Terrain, and the Chevrolet Equinox.
Though the Honda CR-V may not be the best vehicle to go off-roading in, it has a welcoming interior which kids will love. There is a lot of room inside with comfortable head room. "It literally felt like the seat was built to give my body a gentle hug. I never got tired of sitting in the CR-V. If I could sit in that seat right now and write this review, I would." - Cars.com
